We stay each year at the Donatello for a week. Excellent restaurant with jazz on site. Location can't be beat. Spacious rooms.

Located in a historic building that is just 5 minutes’ walk from Union Square, Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel Union Square boasts a rooftop restaurant, a library, a gym with indoor pool and a 564 seat... The room was big and comfortable and was well lit. The location is right near union square. The breakfast was very good. There is free guest laundry. The hotel itself is very unique as it is also used as a memorial for the marines corps. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The price was more than reasonable compared to other options in the area.

Well set in San Francisco, The Clift Royal Sonesta San Francisco provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Great location next to Union Square, very close to the shopping mall and many fashion stores. Modern rooms, well equipped - for the first time in my life it was a pleasure to use the ironing system in the hotel. They takes care about little details like perfect room cleaning, refueling cosmetics or coffee in the room. Frederick's, place where breakfasts are served is exceptional! Very short menu but with great food, my strong recommendation is California style omelet. Very friendly stuff on all level from receptionists, baristas and cleaning room service. For sure the best hotel which I visited in SFO!

Staypineapple is a historic 1913 hotel located just 5 minutes' walk from vibrant Union Square. It offers a coffee and treats reception at check-in and free WiFi in all rooms. Staff were amazing! Erick was especially helpful and this alone made it the best hotel experience I have had - I felt so welcome. They were all wonderful but I saw Erick the most. I truly felt like they cared and they went out of their way to assist me and so friendly and warm. I cannot rate the staff highly enough. The room is quaint and charming. Not modern and huge but met my needs and was perfectly comfortable and clean and nice with nice facilities

Few of the staff were less helpful ( less informed).Others were excellent hence compensated. Location is good surrounded by good food restaurants. Beautiful decorations inside . Strongly recommend for families / solo travelers to stay.

Offering French-inspired architecture, The Marker San Francisco, provides guests with an ideal city centre location just 7 minutes' walk to Union Square and is eco-friendly. The lobby and decor were impressive. The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel was much less expensive than the other downtown hotels, but had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations.
