Friendly hosts and well equipped kitchen. Peaceful and quiet right outside Gudhjem. Sheep, chickens and beautiful rosegarden on the property. Beautiful view of the coastline and the sea from the bedroom window in apt # 2. Apartment # 2 has two bedrooms upstairs accessed with a fairly steep staircase and a sleeper sofa downstairs. The bathroom is also downstairs so if you are elderly or slightly disabled the stairs could be a challenge.

We loved the quirkiness and uniqueness of staying on board of this nice boat. It was special and we immediately felt at home. From the boat it was easy to explore Hasle and the rest of Bornholm. The kitchen is good to prepare an easy meal and cook breakfast. The bed is good.

The staff is just so friendly and polite, they make you want to stay there for much longer. It was such a lovely stay, we hope we can go back there. The flats are well-furnished, and really have all you can need, but the interior design is a bit impersonal. The cafe, on the other hand, is quite charming.

I spent five relaxing days in the nice atmosphere of Hyggehytten and it could not have been better, not only because of the home-made yummy bread the host provides for breakfast. The host family is super friendly and caring, the comfortable and clean accomodation in tiny-house-style is well designed and the central location makes it easy to enjoy the different sides of Bornholm. So I highly recommend spending your holidays at this place and would love to come back again.
