Berlin has loads to offer visitors.
Berlin has loads to offer visitors. While we enjoyed seeing the “sites” our favorite place to visit was the German Technology Museum. We spent most of a day there and still had more to see. We enjoyed a quick lunch at the museum and carried on. We had to leave because we were exhausted, even though we were not able to visit every department! Getting around in Berlin was very simple as the public transport system is fantastic.

It was not my first time visiting the city. The 1st time was almost 20 years ago. At that time, the difference between west and east Berlin was still evident. Now everything is different. For many years I thought Berlin was just a mess - but later I've come to appreciate it for just that. It is however quite expensive around the tourist attractions and it is the dirtiest capital in Europe (not just litter and overflowing trash cans, but also all the graffity disgracing nice buildings and making the metro really ugly).
